Our particular experience in gynecology-especially cervical and vaginal cytology-is widely recognized and is now being communicated through the teaching functions of our resident experts. This teaching program is aimed at laboratory technicians who are already fully qualified but who are seeking to specialize in cytology.
Our Pathology Department was one of the first in Europe to participate in the evaluation of thin layer and monolayer-based cytological methods.
Today, these powerful new methods are in routine use in the Department.
