FRANCE
The collection of biological samples from private and hospital
laboratories, and their transportation at the correct temperature
is taken care of by the AREA Times Company.
Its services meet the requirements stipulated by the ADR and
the GBEA2.

All the vehicles are specially equipped and all the drivers are specially trained for this kind of activity.
All are Renault Kangoo-type vans and are fitted with refrigerated units which can be regulated to- 20°C and + 15°C, as well as a compartment at room temperature.
The refrigerated compartments are fitted with temperature probes which keep a continuous track (recordings every ten minutes) of all temperature readings.
This temperature record is stored in a memory and can be printed out at any time. In the event of temperature drift, an alarm sounds to inform the driver who will, if necessary, contemplate switching mode.
The vehicles are fitted with fixed telephones and a GPS system to insure real time traceability and keep records of all journeys.
The ADR equipment includes labels, an emergency kit, alarm cones, a harness, a wedge, a powder fire extinguisher, gloves and safety goggles.
