Oncosomatics Project Manager
Etienne joined us in September 2021 as Oncosomatics Project Manager. He is responsible for developing analyses relating to the genetics of solid tumors.
Today, Étienne is developing analyses based on shallow Whole Genome Sequencing (sWGS) to detect a wider range of genetic alterations using high-throughput sequencing.
He worked for 7 years at the CLCC François Baclesse in Caen, first as an intern and doctoral student, then as an assistant biologist. His activity focused on two main areas: genetic predisposition (breast cancer, ovarian cancer, Lynch syndrome) and the genetics of solid tumors (ovarian cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer), with strong expertise in bioinformatics.
He then developed a next-generation sequencing (NGS) platform for theranostics for an anatomy-pathology laboratory in Rennes, before joining the Cerba HealthCare group. Étienne holds a Master in Bioinformatics (Université Paris VII), a Doctorate in Pharmacy (Caen University) and a Doctorate in Genetics (Rouen University).
