Collect specimen on hydrochloric acid to achieve ph 2. Mention the diuresis. Maintain the urine at 4°C during collection.
To limit any risk of interference, avoid taking medicines such as paracetamol or antidepressants.
Diet: avoid dry fruits, bananas, chocolate and citrus during the two days before the assay.
