Serum without separative gel only.

Centrifuge quickly (< 4h), immediately allow to settle in a dry tube and store between 2°C and 8°C. store frozen at -20°C.

This test is for monofoetal pregnancy only. Collect between 11,0 WA and 13,6 WA.

Interpretation is possible only if clinical information is provided: patient's age, date of pregnancy determined by ultrasound scan, date of last menstrual period, personal history, weight.

Any mistake concerning gestational age at collection date can lead to misinterpretations. Any request should come with (i) a clinical information sheet filled in by the prescribing physician, (ii) a signed certificate testifying that the patient has clearly be informed and (iii) the consent of the patient. Ultrasonographic data (nuchal translucency, crown-rump lenght, date of ultrasound scan must be sent with the sample. Specific forms are available at www.lab-cerba.com.
