5-7 ml GEL-FREE EDTA or heparinized whole blood tube, decanted and frozen.
The maximum time between sampling and centrifugation is 1h00 if the sample is stored at room temperature and 4h if stored between 2°C and 8°C, centrifugation preferably at +4°C.
Centrifugation speed is > 15 minutes for 1500 to 2000 g or > 10 minutes for 2000 to 2500 g. Plasma to be frozen: standard double centrifugation, with plasma decantation between the two operations (residual platelet count < 10 x 10^9/l).
Mark URGENT on the plastic bag.
Attach the request sheet with the information requested (particularly concerning pre-analysis).
