Transfer bone marrow aspiration into the transport medium provided or if not possible into a lithium heparin tube.Do not centrifuge nor freeze. Increasing aspiration volume risks hemodilution
and culture failure.
Sample must come with the completed "ONCO-HEMATOLOGY CYTOGENETICS" clinical information form and if possible, the report of the bone marrow examination and/or flow cytometry.
Delay: 3 to 10 days depending on the urgency of the indication.
