SPECIAL CAUTIONS FOR COAGULATION TESTS :

- Centrifuge the citrated tubes for 15 minutes at 2000g at room temperature (18-22°C) in a temperature controlled centrifuge.

- Quickly allow plasma to settle, leaving about 0.5 ml of plasma above the cell layer of the white globules and platelets. If several citrate tubes are used, pool plasmas into a single haemolysis tube.

- Centrifuge this tube for 15 minutes at 2000 g.

- Obtain aliquots in fractions of 0.5 to 1 ml without taking from the bottom of the tube (cell debris) and quickly freeze at -20°C.

Two assays together : PTT-LA and DRVVT.
