
Medical Biologist (Infectiology)
Laura joined the Cerba laboratory in 2016 as a Medical Biologist after working in the Paris hospitals group (AP-HP).
She offers expertise in maternal-fetal infections, serological techniques, parasitology and mycology. She is notably working on implementing state-of-the-art mycology analyses: circulating antigens (aspergillus antigens, beta-glucans) and PCR (Aspergillus sp., Pneumocystis).
She is also involved in revising the serological diagnosis of infectious diseases in pregnant women, in line with changes in the NABM (Nomenclature of Medical Biology Acts): toxoplasmosis, CMV, syphilis.
She holds a Doctorate in Infectious Diseases, a DU university diploma in Infectious Diseases of the Pregnant Woman, the Fetus and the Newborn, and a DU university diploma in Medical Mycology.
