The biological diagnosis of arboviral infections (mainly including dengue, chikungunya virus, and Zika virus) is a major challenge for 2024 and the years to come.
The progressive colonization of our metropolitan territory by the tiger mosquito, coupled with a massive resurgence in the number of cases and outbreaks globally, poses a major risk of summer autochthonous epidemics.
These epidemics will need to be detected quickly to implement effective local prevention measures.
In this context, we provide an overview of the current knowledge and best practices for diagnosing arboviral diseases.
