Zoonoses are a heterogeneous group of infectious diseases in which the pathogenic agent (virus, bacterium, fungus, parasite) can be transmitted from animals to humans. These infections, transmitted by domestic, wild or farm animals, can cause serious illness. The increasing prevalence of certain zoonoses, in a context of growing interactions between humans, animals and the environment, highlights the need for more accurate and rapid diagnosis of these infections.
