Biologist (Somatic Oncogenetics)
Guillaume joined the team in January 2024 as a biologist specializing in Somatic Oncogenetics.
He is currently developing techniques for sequencing circulating DNA on the AVITI sequencer (Element Biosciences).
This latest-generation ultra-high-throughput sequencing technology boasts unrivaled sequencing quality, maximizing the sensitivity and specificity of circulating DNA analyses.
Before joining Cerba, Guillaume held the position of Senior Lecturer - Hospital Practitioner at the Molecular Cancer Genetics Platform and the Biochemistry Department at Nantes University Hospital. He has 10 years' experience in Somatic Oncogenetics, with specific expertise in circulating DNA analysis, his former research field, with some 20 publications.
Guillaume holds a Doctorate in Medicine, a PhD in Molecular Biology, specializing in Oncology, and a DES specialized studies diploma in Clinical Pathology from the University of Nantes. He also has a DIU inter-university post-graduate diploma in Personalized Medicine and Pharmacogenomics from the University of Paris VI.
