Endocrine disruptors
How to measure their exposure to learn how to protect oneself from them?
Endocrine disruptors are chemical substances or mixtures capable of altering the functioning of the hormonal system.
Among the best known are bisphenols and phthalates, which have been the subject of numerous warnings from public services and other health authorities.
They are part of our daily lives and their sources of exposure are numerous: food products, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, building materials, furniture, household products and textiles.
Simple gestures and precautions can greatly reduce this exposure.
Measuring exposure is now possible and targeted preventive measures are key to effectively reducing exposure to endocrine disruptors
